  • जब मैं final year में था तब college में एक competition हुआ था – Interview competition – जिसमें college के सभी toppers ने हिस्सा लिया था | मैं पढाई में उतना अच्छा नहीं था तो मैंने उस competition में participate नहीं करने का निर्णय लिया लेकिन फिर लगा interview देकर तो देखो कैसे होता | एक पेपर पर पेन से अपनी डिटेल लिख कर अपना CV तैयार किया और Interview देने पंहुच गया – मुझे ध्यान है मुझसे Zoology, Botany subject में से कई सवाल पूछे गये थे और मैं बहुत अच्छे से उनके जवाब नहीं दे पाया था लेकिन जो मुझसे सम्बंधित और general questions थे उनके मैंने बहुत अच्छे से जवाब दिये थे | जब result आया तो मुझे second prize मिला | ये तो सिर्फ college में competition था लेकिन MBA पूरी होने के बाद अब real life में interview देने थे |

    23 rd. November 2003 (धनतेरस का दिन)  मुझे मेरे एक दोस्त जो की सीकर का रहने वाला था | उसे एक Walk In interview के लिये लेकर जाना था – Interview जिस होटल में था वह जयपुर के बस स्टेण्ड के नजदीक था – तो मेरे दोस्त का यह प्लान था कि वह interview के बाद दीवाली पर सीकर चला जायेगा | तैयार होकर मैं भी आया था – सोचा था मूड बनेगा तो Interview मैं भी दे दूँगा – जब उसे लेने पँहुचा तो वह अभी तक सो रहा था – उसने कहा मेरा मन नहीं है interview देने का – अब तो दीवाली के बाद घर से आने के बाद देखेंगे क्या करना है | मैंने सोचा जब तैयार होकर आ ही गये हैं तो मैं ही Interview देने चला जाता हूँ – जब मैं वहाँ पँहुचा तो सौ से भी अधिक Candidate – सब पढने में लगे थे – Interview एक Pharma Company का था - कुछ लोग उसके प्रोडक्ट्स की  – कम्पनी की सारी डिटेल्स कर आये थे – कुछ लोग Experienced थे उनकी बातें काफी डरावनी मतलब नर्वस करने वाली थी – क्योंकि Medicine के नाम और उनके molecule के नाम का pronunciation - इतना आसन नहीं होता – साथ हो Physiology and Pharmacology पढने में लगे थे – कुछ D Pharma और B Pharma भी लाइन में थे – Pharma Companies इन्हें prefer करती हैं | दुसरे MBA Colleges के  और अपने ही College के दो – चार दिग्गज और मिल गये – ऐसा लग रहा था चक्रव्यूह में अभिमन्यु की तरह अकेला फँस गया हूँ | सुबह 9 बजे Interview Venue पर पँहुच गया था | दो बजे group discussion के लिये बुलाया गया – India v/s Australia matches चल रहे थे उसी पर कोई टॉपिक दिया था जो अब Exact याद नहीं है | इसके दो घंटे बाद Result announce किये गये – 100 से ज्यादा candidates में से सिर्फ 35 – 40 बचे जिसमें से मैं भी एक था बाकी सब Group Discussion में ही बाहर हो गये थे | कुछ राहत मिली लेकिन सफ़र अभी लम्बा और मुश्किल था क्योंकि बताया गया अभी तीन Round और होंगे | पहला round clear किया – दूसरा round भी clear किया – धनतेरस का दिन रात के 9 बजे चुके थे और अभी भी एक round बाकी था – घर से फोन आ रहे थे और पूछ रहे थे ऐसा कौन सा interview है जो सुबह 9 बजे से अभी तक चल रहा है ? final round सब लोग तैयारी में लगे थे – कुछ Pharmaceuticals में काम करने वाले अपने दोस्तों से बात कर रहे थे तो कुछ ने तो अपने दोस्तों को ही वहाँ बुला रखा था – वो उन्हें तैयारी करवाने में लगे हुये थे – लेकिन शायद किसी की भी कोई तैयारी Final Round में काम ना आयी हो क्योंकि जिससे भी पता चला उससे ये ही पुछा जा रहा था – Vacancy कश्मीर HQ पर है चले जाओगे क्या? बस इस सवाल का जवाब देना था हाँ तो क्यों और नहीं तो क्यों – मेरा जवाब ना था – इसके बाद मुझे एक Letter दिया गया (मुझे लगा offer letter मिल गया) लेकिन बोला गया ये letter लेकर तुम्हें Regional Office जाना है Final Interview के लिये – 27th November को (मन में आया अभी और Interview) – 27th October 2003 को दिल्ली पँहुच गये - वहाँ पर भी Interview के दो Round हुये | इसके बाद भी रिजल्ट नहीं बताया गया – Common reply “We will let you know” इन बातों को भी one week हो गया था लेकिन कोई reply नहीं आया था - 3rd November 2003 को कॉल आया की Jaipur HQ पर रिपोर्ट करो – अपनी पहली जॉब पाकर काफी खुश था लेकिन यहाँ स्टोरी खत्म नहीं शुरू हुई है | अभी भी बहुत सारे साथी व दोस्त थे जिनका Selection नहीं हुआ था – अब सब या तो पूछने लगे कैसे तैयारी करें या मैं खुद चला कर बताने लगा कैसे तैयारी करें – जिसको भी तैयारी करवाई उसका selection हो गया – फिर जब MBA के Juniors का नम्बर आया उनमें से भी कुछ को तैयारी करवायी उनका भी selection हो गया

    उसके बाद जिन्दगी में Professional और Personal level पर कई ऐसे मौके आते रहे जब मैंने कई candidates को Interview Preparation करवाई और जिसको भी तैयारी करवाता उसका Selection हो जाता लेकिन कभी भी कोई ऐसा विचार नहीं था कि ये ही मेरा Profession बन जायेगा|

    29th April 2017 – आपको 29th April 2017 को क्या हुआ - वो बताऊँ उससे पहले मैं आपको ये बता दूँ की लगभग 12 साल तक चार National and Top MNCs में काम करने के बाद मैंने 25th July 2015 को जॉब छोड़कर अपनी एक event company start कर दी थी – Exact ये event company भी नहीं थी | It is like start up – Provide best vendors on best price.

      MBA करने के बाद Bharat की एक Reputed Pharma Company (Aristo Pharmaceuticals) में 3rd November 2003 को as a medical representative job स्टार्ट किया और कम्पनी के ट्रेनिंग प्रोग्राम में 100 से अधिक Medical Representative के बीच All Rounder Performance और Best Scientific Knowledge का Award जीता | Jaipur HQ पर मुझे मिलाकर तीन Medical Representative थे - अभी कम्पनी में दो ही महीने हुये थे | एक साथी को उसके Home town में जॉब मिल गयी – एक की सरकारी नौकरी लग गयी और मेरे बॉस को किसी कारण से कम्पनी ने निकाल दिया | दो ही महीने में Jaipur HQ की सारी जिम्मेदारी मेरे ऊपर आ गयी – काम का Pressure काफी था क्योंकि एक तो मुझे ही ज्यादा कुछ नहीं आता था और दूसरा तीन से चार लोगों का काम अकेले को करना पड़ता था | लेकिन Blessing and Disguise - जितना सीखने में मुझे शायद साल भर लग जाता अब 2 महीने में ही वह सब कुछ मैं सीख चुका था और सीनियर मोस्ट हो गया था | जयपुर में होने एक फायदा और था  - Top Management के लोग जयपुर आते रहते थे उनसे मिलना व सीखना होता रहता था और जयपुर से पूरी राजस्थान टीम को ही काम रहता था – तो जल्दी ही Top Management व पुरे राजस्थान की टीम मुझे जानने लगी थी | मेरी Scientific Skill, Communication Skill, Leadership Skill and Other Soft Skill की वजह से मुझे Interview लेने के कहा जाने लगा व साथ ही जो भी नये जॉइन करते उनको बेसिक ट्रेनिंग कराने की जिम्मेदारी भी मुझ पर ही थी लेकिन यह सब - कुछ लोगों को पसंद नहीं आ रहा था – तो Corporate Politics start हो गयी – अब इससे सामना पहली बार हो रहा था – बातों से नहीं अपनी परफॉरमेंस से सबके मुँह बंद कर दिये और कई नये Block Buster product launch किये और यहाँ लांच मीटिंग चल रही होती थी और वहाँ मेरी सेल्स प्लानिंग चल रही होती थी – इस प्रोएक्टिव एप्रोच की वजह से कई बार रीजनल लेवल की मीटिंग में भी Presentation देने का मौका मिला | Aristo ने एक छोटे कुये के मेंढक को समुंद के लिये तैयार कर दिया था |

      अब मौका था Pharma Industry की ड्रीम कंपनी ज्वाइन करने का – Sanofi-Aventis – Interview के कई राउंड हुये लेकिन मैं कॉंफिडेंट था अपने सिलेक्शन को लेकर और मेरा सिलेक्शन हो गया – 5th December 2005 को अपनी ड्रीम कम्पनी ज्वाइन की – सबसे पहले ट्रेनिंग होनी थी – मेरा Experience अभी सिर्फ दो साल था और यहाँ ट्रेनिंग में 10 साल तक के Experience लोग थे और बहुत बडी – बडी कम्पनियों से यहाँ आये हुये थे लेकिन यहाँ पर भी ट्रेनिंग में अपनी छाप छोड दी और 35 से अधिक साथियों के बीच 2nd Rank लेकर आया | जब HQ पता चला तो मेरे HQ से ज्यादा मेरे बॉस की चर्चा थी – Military का सा Discipline, किसी चीज की तारीफ न करना - mean very tough guy to manage – मेरा HQ आया था उदयपुर – अब जयपुर छोड़ कर उदयपुर पँहुच गया – बॉस ने पहले दिन तीन असाइनमेंट दिये और कहा अगर छह महीने में ये कर दोगे तो जयपुर ले आऊंगा – दो महीने में वो कर दिखाया जो छह महीने में भी संभव नहीं था | कम्पनी से लम्बे समय से नाराज चल रहे तीन डॉक्टर Back to track and wings to the Udaipur HQ sales. 2.5 महीने में जयपुर वापस – अब मुझे उन लोगों की टीम में काम करना था – जितनी मेरी उम्र थी उतना तो उनका Experience था – जयपुर HQ काफी बुरी फेज से निकल रहा था – You won’t believe – Sale 5 lakh/ Month and Stock 30 lakh+ | 2006 इससे बाहर आने में निकल गया लेकिन 2007 अब हमारा था – जो सबसे सख्त बॉस थे अब मैं उनका Favorite था – उनकी मेरी कई बार बनती कम थी क्योंकि मुझसे ज्यादा जी सर – जी सर नहीं होता था लेकिन फिर भी मैं Favorite था क्योंकि पूरी सेल्स को Control किये हुये था – 25 साल के Experience लोग वो नहीं कर पा रहे थे – जो मैंने कर दिया था लेकिन यह उनके Support और Guidance के बिना संभव नहीं था | 2007 में Premium Price Category Sales में All India Top किया और 20 से अधिक रीजनल अवार्ड जीते | Aventis ने समुंद के  मेढ़क को एक बडी मछली बना दिया था |

      1 November 2007 को Aventis से छोड़कर गये एक साथी जो अब Baxter में Regional Manager थे कॉल आया – सौरभ Baxter Join करेगा क्या? मैंने कहा “How Much” उन्होंने कहा तू बोल कितना मांगता है – अब Interview की जरुरत नहीं थी Industry में नाम ही काफी था – और मैंने Baxter ज्वाइन कर ली As a Key Account Manager – अब पुरे राजस्थान की जिम्मेदारी थी – मुश्किल से छह महीने हुये थे पूरी फार्मा Industry में MSD की चर्चा थी कि एक बहुत बड़ी कम्पनी भारत आ रही है - अब वो बड़ी मछली Sea से Ocean के लिये तैयार हो चुकी थी |

      9 जून 2008 को MSD ज्वाइन कर ली –Jaipur HQ पर - अब खेल अलग था – MSD world लेवल पर 2nd Largest Company लेकिन भारत में नयी थी/ कोई भी MSD के बारे में ज्यादा जनता नहीं था – Product भी नया था जिसके बारे में कभी किसी ने सुना ही नहीं था – Price भी इतनी थी की लोग सुनते ही भाग जाते थे लेकिन यही तो मौके होते हैं इतिहास रचने के – और हम एक के बाद एक Milestone Achievement करते गये – MSD इतिहास रचती गयी – MSD ने वो कर दिखाया जो भारतीय Pharma Industry में आज तक नहीं हुआ था पहले दो साल में हम 100 crore cross कर चुके थे और 6 साल में 500 crore  – 2010 Golden year of my professional career | महीने की पहली तारीख को 120% Achievement हो जाता था | बहुत सारे ऐसे Incidence थे/ Achievements थे/ Skills थी - जिनकी वजह से MD level तक Direct Approach थी | Learnings Peak पर थी – Achievements Peak  पर थे – Challenges Peak पर थे – एक समय ऐसा आया एक के बाद पूरी राजस्थान टीम छोड गयी और पुरे राजस्थान में Hiring/ Induction/ Sales सब मुझको संभालनी थी और वह काम मैंने बखूबी किया और 16/5/2011 को मुझे Promotion मिला पुरे राजस्थान स्टेट की 11 लोगों की टीम की ट्रेनिंग – ग्रूमिंग – सेल्स की जिम्मेदारी अब मेरी थी | बहुत ही शानदार अनुभव रहे - काम करना और काम करवाना दोनों के लिये बिलकुल अलग टैलेंट चाहिये - MSD Given wings to my dream या मछली के अब पंख लग गये थे |

      25 जुलाई 2015 को मैंने MSD से रिजाइन कर दिया लेकिन इस बीच में MSD में 50 से अधिक अवार्ड लिये – अब समय अपने दुसरे सपनों को पूरा करने का और मैंने मित्र के साथ मिलकर एक स्टार्टअप स्टार्ट किया WeddingFolk - हमने उसमें बहुत अच्छा किया लेकिन धीरे – धीरे समझ आया वह Scalable Business Model नहीं था – अब Start up की समझ बढ रही थी – कुछ गलतियाँ होती उन्हें ठीक करते – फिर आगे बढ़ते | धीरे – धीरे चीजें Track पर आ रही थी – इसके साथ – साथ हमने एक Idea पर काम करना और शुरू कर दिया था TPS app वह भी धीरे – धीरे Build होने लगी थी लेकिन 14 जून 2017 को पार्टनर Backout कर गया और मेरे लिये उन्हें अकेले संभलना संभव न था – Financial Obligation काफी थे – दोनों Idea यहाँ Drop कर दिये गये थे लेकिन पार्टनर की मानसिकता पहले ही समझ आ चुकी थी| इसलिये 29th April 2017 को मैंने  Pragya Institute of Personality Development की शुरुवात कर दी थी | अभी तक Job की थी और Entrepreneurship मेरे लिये बिलकुल नयी Learnings थी - सब कुछ ख़त्म हो गया था लेकिन इससे सीखने को बहुत कुछ मिला था |
